A one-hour, 10-minute webinar about cervical screening and first trimester screening as part of the Royal Hobart Hospital GP update webinar series.
This webinar explored updates to cervical screening guidelines, indications for referral, tips and tricks for taking smears, as well as screening data and how cervical cancer is currently treated.
This webinar covers:
- Cervical screening, including guidelines, indications for referral, tips and tricks for taking smears, screening data and how we currently treat cervical cancer.
- First trimester screening, including options available for first-trimester screening for aneuploidy, interpreting abnormal reports for non-invasive prenatal test (NIPT) and combined first-trimester screening (cFTS), uterine artery dopplers, preeclampsia screening and low dose aspirin, and cervical length screening.
These events were organised by the southern General Practice Liaison Officers and supported by Primary Health Tasmania and focus on services provided by the Royal Hobart Hospital.
