A 41-minute webinar hosted by Primary Health Tasmania introducing the Tasmanian Community Paediatric Service (TCPS)
The work of the team has included establishing Kids Care Clinics (KCCs) in various community based sites across the state. Their clinical work includes providing Wellbeing assessments and paediatric care for children and young people identified by various stake holders to have additional social vulnerabilities, including through Child Safety Services and the Strong Families, Safe Kids advice and referral line.
The session provided GPs with an opportunity to engage with the Tasmanian Community Paediatric service team. Meet the clinicians and learn about the service and the multidisciplinary approach they are taking and learn about the supports available to families of children and young people. Primary Health Tasmania has also recently reviewed Tasmanian HealthPathways Child and Youth Health Suite.
