Information security in health care services is vital to ensure the privacy and protection of patient information.
The RACGP has authored a number of useful resources to support general practices to review and comply with information security requirements of the General Practice Accreditation Standards (5th edition).
These resources include an Information Security Guidelines manual and support templates a practice can use for policies, procedures in addition to asset and network documentation.
