Join us for a webinar with a panel of experts from TAS Department of Health Communicable Disease Prevention Unit and Tasmanian Health Service on how infants across Australia will benefit from new respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) protection program.
The program includes a nationally funded vaccination program for pregnant women, and state and territory funded long-acting monoclonal antibody program for infants.
The panel will present on:
- The new NIP-funded RSV vaccination program for pregnant women to protect their infants
- State funded RSV long-acting monoclonal antibody program
- State immunisation program operations and logistics
- RSV prevention program resources to support healthcare providers
- Describe the epidemiology of influenza and COVID-19 in the Tasmanian and Australian context
- Describe clinical guidance relating to COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations
- Describe priority populations recommended to receive seasonal influenza vaccines and COVID-19 boosters, including timing and co-administration.
