The Education Interface Program - Atrial fibrillation management.

A one-hour, 23-minute webinar about atrial fibrillation management, organised by the Cardiac Community Network, and supported by Primary Health Tasmania in partnership with the Tasmanian Health Service GP Liaison Officers.

The Cardiac Community Network has been set up with the aim to improve communication and collaboration between primary and secondary care services, focusing on the management of cardiac related conditions. 

This webinar covers:

  • contemporary management of atrial fibrillation, including etiology, risk factors and triggers, diagnosis and treatment.
  • lifestyle measures, risk factor management, thromboembolic risk reduction are also covered, and medical management and catheter ablation will be discussed in an interactive case-based discussion.
